GOOD NEWS FOR TOURISTS NEEDING A VISA TO ENTER BOLIVIA:
Starting February, the Bolivian Government has facilitated the entrance to Bolivia for tourists who require a visa. Complying with the list of requirements given by our Sales Executives, the visa is issued at the border at any entrance point of Bolivia and the cost is US$ 55 for everybody, including USA tourists who used to pay a reciprocity visa of US135. Nevertheless if USA tourists ask the visa in USA –and not in the border-, the cost will still be US$135. The tourist visa allows tourists to remain in BOLIVIA for 90 days.
PRESIDENT OPENED THE NEW DOUBLE HIGHWAY LA PAZ-ORURO:
Last February 2nd, the first double Highway in Bolivia, La Paz-Oruro was inaugurated with a long caravan, leaded by President Evo Morales driving one of the cars. This Highway had an over US$ 300 million investment, covering an area of 202.93 km, with two parallel tracks with spacing of 14 mtrs in rural areas and 7 mtrs in urban areas. Each channel has a width of 10.5 mtrs and a platform formed by two lanes of 3.5 mtrs. ! Fantastic news for visitors doing an overland trip to Uyuni Salt Flats!

JUDE LAW VISITED LAKE TITICACA, LA PAZ AND UYUNI SALT FLATS:
British actor Jude Law arrived to Bolivia with his daughter and son and shar5d with both -President and Vice President-Oruro´s Carnival Folk Parade. THE FAMOUS DAKAR RALLY CROSSED THE UNIQUE UYUNI SALT FLATS:
The Dakar Rally is the toughest motorsport and the most famous rally in the world, which this year crossed the surrealist Uyuni Salt Flats in BOLIVIA at an altitude of 3.600 mtrs. A total of 438 drivers from 52 nations competed in the 2015's rally, crossing the Andes and braving the Atacama Desert before reaching the Pacific Ocean. Many international TV channels took this part of the rally in UYUNI SALT FLATS to over twenty millions people.
